Study Summary
This trial is testing whether positive thinking and cognitive restructuring (a process of analyzing and refuting negative thoughts) can help reduce negative thinking and improve mood. It also investigates whether doing a positive mood induction before using either of these strategies makes them more effective. Finally, the study will look at whether participants' depressive symptoms improve after using the coping strategy for one week.
