Study Summary

This trial will test whether transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to the left dorsal lateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) can help subjects with medication-refractory depression. 100 subjects will be recruited and undergo TMS treatment, questionnaires, and a behavioral testing battery. MRI data will be used to identify brain regions whose connectivity to the stimulation site co-varies with the improvement of symptoms.
