Study Summary
This trial will investigate how two different types of therapy can change brain function. The findings could be used to improve treatment for ADHD by creating a focused, tactic-based emotional regulation remediation approach.

Participants in this group will be randomized to receive either the CBT training (n=10) or Mindfulness training (n=10).

Eligibility Criteria:
This trial includes the following eligibility criteria:- You are currently taking any medications for mental health conditions.You have had a head injury where you were unconscious for more than 30 minutes.You have or had a disease affecting your brain or spinal cord, like multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, or tumors.You currently have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) along with depression.You are right-handed.>8th grade English reading level.You have a score of > 14 on the Beck Depression Inventory - II.You currently have a diagnosed problem with substance abuse, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), conduct disorder, or major depressive disorder (MDD).

This trial has the following groups:- Group 1: Depressed
- Group 2: Healthy Control

This trial has 1 awards, including:- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
