This trial will test an interactive nutrition module, using virtual human technology, to see if it can effectively communicate with adults aged 50-73 about colorectal cancer risks and promote screening.

Who is the study for?
Adults aged 50-73, fluent in English and living in rural areas of north central Florida can join this study. It's designed to develop a virtual nutrition guide for colorectal cancer prevention.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The trial is testing two versions of an interactive virtual technology module against a non-cancer related module to see which better promotes understanding of cancer risk and encourages screening.See study design

The virtual health assistant will interactively collect nutrition information (alcohol, red meat, and processed meat intake) and report risk information back to users in visual and audio format
Group II: low interactive virtual human moduleActive Control1 Intervention
Complete the current intervention module that includes items assessing alcohol and meat intake.
Group III: attention control modulePlacebo Group1 Intervention
The attention control group, will complete a related module not related to colorectal cancer or nutrition
