Study Summary
This trial will study how a supplemental program, "Care Partner," can help elderly adults. It involves 60 individuals and 30 professionals in organizations currently providing care.

Level of acceptance of intervention as assessed by qualitative assessments

Change in Depression as assessed by the Patient Health Questionnaire Depression Scale (PHQ-2)

Change in caregiving competence and confidence as assessed by the Pearlin's Caregiving Competence Scale.

Change in self-reported health status as assessed by one item in the 12-item Short Form Survey (SF-12)
Change in the perception of caregiving effectiveness as measured by the Caregiving Effectiveness Scale (Noelker)

Eligibility Criteria
Age 18+ · All Participants · 10 Total Inclusion Criteria
Mark “Yes” if the following statements are true for you:You must be able to speak English.
You must be eligible and able to participate in one of the CAPABLE programs offered by the pilot site organization.
A specialist will be available to help and support the caregiver of the participant.
The study requires a licensed social worker or trained professional to provide caregiver support.
You spend at least 10 hours per week taking care of someone who is enrolled in the CAPABLE program.
You are available to attend two phone or virtual meetings that will last for 45 minutes each.
You must be available for two 30-minute phone or virtual meetings.
You have completed at least 6 months of training to help CAPABLE clients.
You are currently participating in another study called CAPABLE.
You can attend two one-hour phone or virtual meetings.
