Study Summary

This trial will study whether a Medisafe App can help improve medication adherence in cancer patients receiving either oral anticancer agents or oral medications for chronic disease management.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for cancer patients of any stage or type who are taking oral anticancer drugs or other medications for chronic conditions alongside their cancer treatments. Participants must be able to fill out questionnaires in English or Spanish, have a smartphone or tablet compatible with the Medisafe App, and can consent to join.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests if a smartphone app (Medisafe App) helps cancer patients take their medication on time. It's not random; everyone gets the app and researchers will see if it improves how well they follow their medication schedule over 12 weeks using surveys and interviews.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves using an app rather than a drug, there aren't typical medical side effects. However, participants may experience issues related to technology use such as frustration with the app interface or privacy concerns.
