Men with burn injuries can join this trial if they don't have prostate cancer, a PSA level over 4.0 micrograms/L, serious heart conditions like unstable angina or recent heart attacks, uncontrolled high blood pressure on one medication, or certain arrhythmias. The study is testing whether testosterone treatment helps men with burns build muscle protein and strength during hospital stay and recovery at home. It also looks at the added benefits when testosterone is combined with resistance exercise after leaving the hospital.See study design
