TMS for Traumatic Brain Injury
Study Summary
This trial is testing whether premotor cortex (PMC) is necessary to learn a new motor skill. Participants will have their brains scanned and then receive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to either the PMC or primary motor cortex (M1). A third group will receive a placebo stimulation. The primary outcome measure will be the change in skill after training in each group.

- You have had a head injury or a brain disease.You are right-handed.You do not have a history of trouble moving or a disease that affects your brain and nerves.Tell us if there are any reasons why you should not receive TMS treatment.
- Group 1: Sham TMS over premotor cortex
- Group 2: TMS over premotor cortex
- Group 3: TMS over primary motor cortex
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
