This trial aims to make a dementia intervention more accessible to Latino caregivers, piloting online training modules and collecting caregiver outcomes.
Who is the study for?
This trial is for Latino caregivers aged 18 or older who look after someone with dementia. They must live close to the person they care for, provide at least 8 hours of help per week, and report that the person has behavioral symptoms at least three times a week.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests an online training program called STAR-VTF designed to help Latino caregivers manage dementia symptoms. Caregivers will use culturally adapted modules, give feedback through surveys and interviews, aiming to refine this virtual support tool.See study design

This trial includes the following eligibility criteria:- People with diabetes live in a place where they get help with daily activities or in a nursing home.You live with someone who has dementia or within 5 miles of someone with dementia.The person with dementia has shown at least 3 behavioral or psychological symptoms in the past week, according to the caregiver.
