This trial is testing a new stigma reduction intervention for people with addiction in the criminal justice system, to see if it impacts individual, staff, and program-level outcomes.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for legal system staff and clients involved with the Tennessee Recovery Oriented Compliance Strategy (TN-ROCS) program in select counties. Staff eligible include judges, attorneys, probation officers, among others who have had contact with TN-ROCS clients recently. Clients must be accepted into the TN-ROCS program and not re-incarcerated.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The trial tests a new stigma reduction intervention called CSTARR in rural Tennessee counties. It aims to reduce stigma related to addiction within the criminal justice system by providing Stigma Awareness Training for staff and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for clients' self-stigma.See study design
