- You have been diagnosed with major depression or generalized anxiety disorder.You have been diagnosed with a serious mental health condition like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.People between 18 and 65 years old, regardless of their race or gender, can participate.You cannot have a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan because you are pregnant, have metal in your body that can't be removed, or have medical conditions that make MRI unsafe for you.If the interviewer finds that you have serious mental health issues that need immediate care, you will be referred to the right mental health services.You have a low score on certain tests that measure how much pleasure or positive feelings you experience.You have clear vision or wear glasses or contacts to correct your vision.You have normal hearing or use hearing aids to help you hear.You have had a serious problem with alcohol or drugs in the past 3 months.
- Group 1: High Reward - High Variance
- Group 2: High Reward - Low Variance
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
