This trial seeks to understand if a nutritional intervention in the lives of seniors living in a community setting could positively affect their health.

Who is the study for?
This study is for older men and women living in Grace Village or Vü who can understand, read, and write French or English. They must have good vision and hearing to take cognitive tests. Those with a BMI under 22, malnutrition, high hypoglycemia risk, severe digestive diseases, severe dysphagia, or using certain supplements/diets that increase ketones cannot join.Check my eligibility

The KetoHome Study is testing the feasibility of a low carb diet versus a regular diet in preventing Alzheimer's Disease within a senior community setting. It aims to see if such nutritional intervention research can be effectively conducted in small communities.See study design
