What is the purpose of this trial?

The purpose of this study is to assess how an oral herbal supplement influences hair density, shine, growth, and microbiome.

Eligibility Criteria

This trial is for men and women aged 25-65 who feel their hair is thinning but don't have scarring alopecia. Participants shouldn't be pregnant, breastfeeding, or have changed hormonal contraception recently. They must not be allergic to the supplement's ingredients, haven't had certain hair treatments or used hair growth products in the past few months.

Inclusion Criteria

I am between 25 and 65 years old and notice my hair is thinning.

Exclusion Criteria

I have a type of hair loss that leads to scarring.

Individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding

Individuals who have changed any of their hormonal based contraception within 3 months prior to joining the study

Screening

Participants are screened for eligibility to participate in the trial

Treatment

Participants receive either the oral herbal supplement or placebo for hair health

Trial Overview Researchers are testing an oral herbal supplement against a placebo to see if it improves hair density, shine, growth, and affects the scalp's microbiome. Participants will randomly receive either the herbal supplement or a placebo without knowing which one they're taking.
