Who is the study for?
This trial is for adults over 18 who are getting patch testing at Park Nicollet Contact Dermatitis. They must need comprehensive testing with at least 90 patches and have enough clear skin on both their back and thighs to place the patches.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study is comparing patient experiences and test quality between two methods of patch testing for allergic contact dermatitis: one using the back, traditionally preferred, and another using the thighs as an alternative site.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Patch testing may cause temporary skin irritation, redness or itching where the patches are applied. Some individuals might experience a stronger allergic reaction due to exposure to allergens during the test.
