AMPS Trial Summary
This trial will develop a smartphone intervention that uses two surveys and two messages per day for three weeks to target high-risk alcohol use among young adult college students. The intervention focuses on alcohol expectancies, use, and consequences, and includes personalized messages based on participants' expectations and experiences.

Group I: Mobile Alcohol Expectancy Challenge (mAEC)Experimental Treatment1 Intervention
Participants randomized to the mAEC condition will receive twice daily intervention messages for three weeks and have access to other psycho-educational alcohol information.
Group II: Assessment-only ControlActive Control1 Intervention
Participants randomized to the control group will not receive any intervention. They will be an assessment-only control group.
