- You are not expected to live more than 3 months.You are currently involved in another study that focuses on changing behavior related to falls.You have good cognitive abilities, as determined by a simple test called the Mini-Cog.
- Group 1: Motivational Interviewing (MI) goup
- Group 2: Control group
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.

"The primary objective measured over the baseline, 3-month, 6-month and 12-month periods is to quantify changes in Falls Self-Efficacy Scale - International (FESI). Secondary outcomes include an analysis of self-reported fall rates with a mail-in monthly diary; number of falls per month with 0 being the minimum value; 30 second sit to stand physiologic assessment measuring how many times participants can stand from sitting position, where zero represents the least amount and higher values indicate greater ability; and finally Patient Activation Measure which uses a 100 point quantifiable scale determining patient engagement in healthcare. A score of 0 indicates minimal"
