Study Summary

This trial will compare the traditional way of closing up an arthroplasty surgery vs. using a barbed suture, which may be faster and more effective. There is no increased risk of complications with using a barbed suture in revision surgery, but this trial will assess if there are any differences in cosmesis or wound complications.
