Study Summary

This trial is testing whether a video support program can help families improve communication and coping skills when a parent has cancer.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for families where a parent has been diagnosed with cancer within the last 5 years, has at least one child aged 6-18, and lives with the child more than half the time. The family should not be planning to move out-of-state soon. Parents with recurrent cancer or severe mental health conditions are excluded.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study is testing a video support program designed to help families communicate better and cope with the challenges of having a parent recently diagnosed with cancer. Families will be randomly assigned to either receive this program or not as part of the study.See study design
