Frequently Asked Questions

These questions and answers are submitted by anonymous patients, and have not been verified by our internal team.

Is there still an opportunity for enrolment in this clinical research?

"As indicated on clinicaltrials.gov, recruitment for this medical trial has been open since June 1st 2021 and is still ongoing as of July 18th 2022."

Answered by AI

Are octogenarians being accepted into this medical research?

"This research study is welcoming volunteers that are between the ages of 20 and 40."

Answered by AI

What is the intended purpose of this endeavor?

"This trial will analyse the fractional synthesis rate of myofibrillar proteins in response to different dietary protein sources and meal frequencies over a 3-hour pre-ingestion period and 5 hours post consumption. Secondary objectives include evaluating patient's feelings towards their meals, measuring insulin concentration through an ELISA kit, as well as determining plasma amino acid levels with LC/MS/MS."

Answered by AI

What are the eligibility requirements for participation in this trial?

"The study is hoping to enroll 48 individuals aged between 20 and 40 who have a normal muscle protein synthesis rate. Criteria for applicants include: age, pre-menopausal status, recreational activity levels, and weight maintenance during the previous 6 months."

Answered by AI

What is the estimated size of the participant pool for this trial?

"Affirmative. Clinicaltrials.gov displays that this medical trial has been actively recruiting since June 1st 2021 and was last modified on July 18th 2022. They are searching for 48 patients from a single location to become involved in the study."
