I was 35 when I had to terminate my pregnancy at 22 weeks. My son had Trisomy 18, which was unfortunately not picked up on an ultrasound or an AFP. I have never understood why. I was always told that Dr. Finkelstein was very straightforward with my other two pregnancies, but I thought he would have had more compassion for this situation. I still think about it 51.
