"This clinical trial is seeking 302 neonates aged between 30 and 40 weeks who have contracted an infection. To be eligible to participate, they must have been born to a mother above 18 years of age with English or Spanish as their first language, weighed less than 1500 grams at birthtime and had the feeding tube inserted within 24 hours of delivery; additionally, it is expected that participants will require postnatal nutrition for 4 weeks after birth and the mother should not test positive for COVID-19."
