This trial will assess the effects of Nitric Oxide on vascular responsiveness and on endothelial function during hemolysis in patients with pre-operative endothelial dysfunction undergoing cardiac surgery requiring prolonged cardiopulmonary bypass.

- Your systolic blood pressure is less than 90 mmHg, which means your blood pressure is too low.You are not expected to live for more than a year from the time you join the study.You have recently had or are planning to have heart or aortic surgery that requires a heart-lung machine for more than 90 minutes.You have signs of endothelial dysfunction based on answers to a questionnaire.You recently had a heart operation that was not planned.
- Group 1: Control
- Group 2: Nitric Oxide
- All Individual Drugs Already Approved - Therapies where all constituent drugs have already been approved are likely to have better-understood side effect profiles.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
