What is being tested?
The study aims to compare three different chemotherapy regimens to find out which is most effective in treating patients with metastatic colorectal cancer that has progressed after initial treatment.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Chemotherapy can cause side effects such as fatigue, nausea and vomiting (despite anti-emetics), blood cell count changes increasing infection risk, potential damage to nerves causing numbness or tingling sensations (neuropathy), and may affect liver function.
