Study Summary

This trial will study the effects of progressive respiratory muscle training in adults with ALS. Participants will be stratified into two groups based on their baseline inspiratory muscle strength, and the investigators will measure maximum inspiratory pressure and maximum expiratory pressure weekly.

Timeline

Screening ~ 3 weeks
Treatment ~ Varies
Follow Up ~baseline, 7 weeks, 18 weeks, 24 weeks
This trial's timeline: 3 weeks for screening, Varies for treatment, and baseline, 7 weeks, 18 weeks, 24 weeks for reporting.
