Study Summary
This trial will compare two methods of skin cancer removal to see which leaves a better looking scar and has fewer complications. One group will have electrodesiccation and curettage (ED&C) and the other will have excision with complex linear closure. Researchers will compare the scars 3 months after surgery using the patient observer scar assessment scale (POSAS) and the trace-to-tape method. They will also look at patient quality of life surveys and any adverse events.
