They must visit the market regularly (at least twice a month) and be able to complete surveys in English or Spanish. Immediate family members of current participants are excluded.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study aims to find out which financial incentive ($10, $20, or $40 per month) most effectively encourages SNAP beneficiaries to buy more fruits and vegetables at certain markets in San Diego, Orange, and LA counties.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves financial incentives rather than medical treatments, there are no direct physical side effects. However, changes in purchasing habits may indirectly affect participants' nutrition.
