Study Summary

This trial is studying how well beta alethine works in treating patients with low-grade lymphoma.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for adults with low-grade B-cell lymphoma who have either measurable disease after chemotherapy or indolent disease not yet treated. They must be in good health otherwise, with adequate blood counts and liver/kidney function, and no severe heart issues or active infections. Pregnant/nursing individuals, HIV/AIDS patients, those on certain medications like anti-inflammatories or immunosuppressants are excluded.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The trial is testing beta alethine's ability to boost the immune system against lymphoma. It's a Phase I/II study which means they're looking at how safe it is (Phase I) and how well it works (Phase II). Participants will receive beta alethine to see if it can stop their cancer from growing.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Potential side effects of beta alethine may include reactions related to the immune system being activated such as fever, fatigue, skin reactions at injection sites, flu-like symptoms, and possibly changes in blood cell counts leading to increased risk of infections.
