Frequently Asked Questions
Does this trial accept participants older than seventy-five years of age?
"For this trial to be successful, it needs participants aged above 18 years and below 79."
Is this research initiative currently recruiting participants?
"According to clinicaltrials.gov, this particular trial has concluded recruitment since it was posted on October 26th 2021 and last updated November 9th 2022. Fortunately for patients seeking a medical study currently recruiting, there are 746 other trials accepting patient enrolment at the moment."
Who is eligible to enroll in this clinical investigation?
"This medical trial is recruiting 505 individuals aged 18 to 79 with hypertension, and additional key criteria must be met. These include having a primary care physician at Massachusetts General Hospital who has been caring for 2 patients within the past 18 months whose blood pressure was above goal, and not having had their treatment regimens intensified in or following that time frame. Moreover, the BP target should be lower than 140/90 for all participants; due to pandemic-related changes in care delivery during 2020's COVID surge, both physical office visits as well as virtual appointments featuring same-day recorded vitals will also qualify."
