- Your kidneys are not working properly (creatinine over 2.0).You have a current inflammatory condition like lupus, multiple sclerosis, or inflammatory bowel disease.You cannot eat only plant-based foods for at least 48 hours before the fast starts.You can't lie still on your back for at least 10 minutes.You are between 30 and 75 years old.You have been diagnosed with mild or moderate high blood pressure (hypertension).Your blood sugar levels are within a certain range when you haven't eaten for a while, and your average blood sugar levels over the past few months are also within a specific range.You can go without eating any food and only drink water for at least 7 days.Your blood pressure is higher than 180/120 mmHg.You currently have cancer that is growing or spreading.You have had a stroke, heart attack, blood clot in your veins, irregular heart rhythm, or lung blood clot in the past year, or are taking blood thinners.You cannot stop taking your medications or supplements.You have metal implants in your abdomen.
- Group 1: Water-only Fasting Group
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
