- I have a history of brain or nerve conditions like seizures.I have been diagnosed with simple appendicitis.I am having or had an appendectomy after treatment for appendicitis didn't work.I weigh more than 20kg.My kidney function is very low.I had my appendix removed when I was between 3 and 18 years old.I am diagnosed with acute appendicitis and will have surgery soon.My surgery showed I have a severe form of appendicitis.
- Group 1: Standard of Care (Arm A)
- Group 2: Standard of Care and Antibiotic instillation (Arm B)
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
