This trial will study how best to train medical professionals to address common psychosocial problems in pediatric patients, such as parental depression and substance abuse. The trial will compare different approaches to training and will study the use of software to facilitate implementation.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for pediatric primary care practices that treat children, where doctors, staff, and parents of kids aged 0-5 are willing to participate. They must understand English and have computer access for surveys. Practices already using the SEEK model cannot join.Check my eligibility

Stages of SEEK Implementation Completion (SIC).
Secondary outcome measures
Rates of Diagnosis of Child Maltreatment.
SEEK PCP Questionnaire (PCPQ)- Thinking and Behaviors re. Addressing Targeted Risk Factors.
SEEK Parent View of Child's PCP.

Group I: Maintenance of Certification (MOC)Experimental Treatment1 Intervention
MOC involves a guided learning experience, approved by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Family Medicine for Maintenance of Certification credits. This involves a Quality Improvement project with 3 waves of data collection to assess and improve implementation while participating in 4 monthly webinars led by Dr. Dubowitz.
Group II: Independent online training (IND)Active Control1 Intervention
IND refers to practitioners Independently doing the online training.
