Study Summary

This trial will test the hypothesis by observing whether:

Who is the study for?
This trial is for individuals currently experiencing a behavioral crisis and have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Participants must be assessed through a structured interview as per the latest diagnostic guidelines. It's not open to those with brain damage, or who are currently intoxicated or in withdrawal from alcohol or drugs.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests the idea that engaging patients about their management of life crises can quickly resolve behavioral crises and all related symptoms. This approach is based on the belief that every behavioral crisis, such as flashbacks or uncontrollable urges, stems from an underlying life crisis.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves psychological intervention rather than medication, traditional side effects like you'd see with drugs aren't expected. However, discussing traumatic events may cause temporary emotional discomfort.
