This trial will study the effects of lisuride on cocaine dependence and safety in a group of crack users.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for men and women aged 21-50 who are dependent on cocaine as per DSM-IV criteria. Participants must consent to the study's terms. Those with psychiatric disorders needing medication, pregnant or nursing women, a history of seizures, acute hepatitis, or other unsafe medical conditions can't join.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study aims to assess the safety of lisuride in individuals addicted to crack cocaine and its effects when combined with cocaine. It will explore how lisuride alters both the subjective experience and physical response to cocaine use.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Potential side effects may include reactions specific to lisuride or its interaction with cocaine such as changes in blood pressure, mood alterations, nausea, headaches, dizziness or other physiological responses.
