What is being tested?
The study tests if practicing mindfulness through a smartphone app for 14 days can improve the quality of romantic relationships. Couples are randomly placed into either the mindfulness group or a control group that does similar activities without mindfulness.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Since this trial involves a non-invasive mindfulness intervention, significant side effects are not anticipated. However, participants may experience changes in mood or stress levels due to increased self-awareness.
