- You are planning to give birth vaginally.You have a medical condition called pre-eclampsia, which may or may not be severe.You are pregnant with a baby that is known or suspected to have abnormalities.The baby is positioned head-down in the mother's uterus.You are allergic to medications used in the study.You cannot have a specific type of anesthesia called neuraxial anesthesia.You are planning to have epidural anesthesia during labor.You are pregnant with one baby.
- Group 1: Clonidine
- Group 2: Dexmedetomidine
- Group 3: Ropivacaine + Fentanyl
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
