Imaging with 18F-FMAU for Brain Cancer
Study Summary
This trial is testing a new way to image brain tumors using a radioactive tracer. The tracer is given through a vein and helps doctors take pictures of the inside of the body. This may help them find the tumor and see how far the disease has spread.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this research initiative available for participants at the moment?
"Clinicaltrials.gov shows that this medical investigation is seeking volunteers, having first been posted on February 15th 2021 and last updated on August 19th 2022."
What is the total enrollment number for this medical experiment?
"Affirmative. Clinicaltrials.gov hosts information that reveals this study is actively looking for participants, which was first announced on February 15th 2021 and most recently updated nearly a year later in August 19th 2022. 10 patients are required to be recruited from just one medical centre."
What precedent has been set by previous research involving Multiparametric Magnetic Resonance Imaging?
"Currently, two clinical trials that use Multiparametric Magnetic Resonance Imaging are underway. However, neither of these investigations have reached the Phase 3 stage yet. Moreover, most of the studies conducted for this medical technique take place in Los Angeles but there are also two other research centres involved."
