The purpose of this study is to investigate whether a light electrical stimulation to leg muscles and joints can help people with Cerebral Palsy (CP) maintain balance during everyday tasks such as getting up from a chair and walking. Children and young adults with CP can have trouble with daily tasks such as standing up, sitting down on the chair and turning. The difficulty in maintaining balance sometimes lead to falls. This raises risk of disability in CP as children age into teens and adults. Current treatments are not very effective. In this study, children and young adults will be asked to stand up from a stool, walk in a straight line, turn, walk back and sit down on the stool. Participants will receive electrical stimulation at a very low intensity that cannot be felt to help increase their sensory perception. The investigators will evaluate treatment by testing balance, and other functional measures.

It is critical to provide accessible evidence-based psychosocial support to parents and caregivers of children with cancer (PCCC) in order to mitigate individual and family-level psychosocial risks. This effectiveness trial evaluates an eHealth intervention for English- and Spanish-speaking (PCCC) with study endpoints focused on decreasing negative psychosocial sequelae (acute distress, posttraumatic stress, and anxiety) and improving coping abilities (coping self-efficacy, cognitive coping strategies). The long-term goal of this research program is to sustain and disseminate an effective, scalable, high-reach, and cost-effective intervention to provide crucial support to PCCC across the pediatric cancer trajectory.

This phase III cluster randomized trial compares the effect of geriatric evaluation and management with survivorship health education (GEMS) to usual care on patient-reported physical function in older survivors of cancer. Survivorship care for older adults of cancer usually consists of getting advice from their doctor. This advice may include how to do their daily activities, so they are less tired or how to manage multiple diseases, or long-term side effects from treatment. GEMS may help improve the physical ability to perform activities of daily living, mental well-being, and memory in older survivors of cancer after chemotherapy. This study may help doctors learn if including GEMS in their practices improves physical, mental and memory functions in their patients. The study may also help to understand how such care affects cancer patients and their caregivers' quality of life.

Cancer patients and their spouse/partner caregivers may be at high risk for financial problems because of the cost of cancer treatment. A financial navigator is a person or team who works with patients and their families to help them reduce stress or hardship related to the cost of cancer treatment. Financial navigators help patients understand their out-of-pocket expenses and what their health insurance plans may cover. Financial navigation may also help patients set up payment plans, find cost-saving methods for treatments, and improve access to healthcare services that the patient needs. Providing financial navigation to patients may help reduce financial worries and improve quality of life.

Clinical trial that tests the feasibility of a web based caregiver support resource, along with caregiver navigation sessions for caregivers of patients with stage II-IV lung cancer. The Caregiver Oncology Needs Evaluation Tool (CONNECT) is a novel web-based intervention designed for the community oncology setting, to systematically connect lung cancer caregivers with tailored supportive care resources. The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate a new way of providing healthcare to children with an unhealthy weight. Families who participate will be assigned by chance to one of two groups. One group will see their child's primary care provider to talk about healthy lifestyles for 6 months. The other group will be in our Healthy Lifestyle program for 6 months. This will include: * Check-ins with lifestyle specialists and community health workers, * A mobile app to help support a healthy lifestyle, and * Access to community programs and activities. The main questions the study aims to answer are: * Do children in the Healthy Lifestyle program have better weight outcomes? * Do more families in the Healthy Lifestyle program stay in the study? * Does the Healthy Lifestyle program work better for families from certain communities?

This randomized phase II trial studies how well abbreviated breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and digital tomosynthesis mammography work in detecting cancer in women with dense breasts. Abbreviated breast MRI is a low cost procedure in which radio waves and a powerful magnet linked to a computer and used to create detailed pictures of the breast in less than 10 minutes. These pictures can show the difference between normal and diseased tissue. Digital tomosynthesis mammography is a procedure that uses multiple x-rays pictures of each breast to produce a 3-dimensional rendering of the entire breast. Combined screening with abbreviated breast MRI and digital tomosynthesis mammography may be a better method to screen women with dense breasts.
