What is the purpose of this trial?

Improvements in ureteroscopes have led to improved stone free rates. Two new devices (FANS - Flexible and Navigable Suction) and the CVAC ureteroscope have never been compared head to head. This trial will compare these two new suction ureteroscope technologies against each other

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

Inclusion Criteria

I have been diagnosed with kidney stones.
* Total linear stone diameter 8-20 mm in size

Timeline for a Trial Participant

Screening

Participants are screened for eligibility to participate in the trial

2-4 weeks

Treatment

Participants undergo ureteroscopy using either FANS or CVAC suction ureteroscope for kidney stone removal

1 day
1 visit (in-person)

Follow-up

Participants are monitored for stone free rate using CT evidence

up to 6 weeks
1-2 visits (in-person)
