Whole Health STEPS for Veteran Mental Health
Study Summary
This trial is testing a new way to provide care for Veterans with mental health concerns who are not actively engaged in mental health services. The new care includes support from a Peer Support Specialist, or Peer. The level of support provided will be determined based on Veterans' progress. Whole Health STEPS offers a non-mental health referral option for primary care Veterans with mental health concerns, provides a structured package of existing Whole Health services, and provides a structured service for peers in primary care settings.

- I cannot communicate in English by myself.I prefer to be referred directly to a mental health care provider.I have recently changed my mental health medications.I am able to complete all required research tasks and interventions.I have some difficulty doing everyday tasks.
- Group 1: Whole Health STEPS
- Group 2: Waitlist
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
