Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as rituximab, ifosfamide, carboplatin, etoposide, and lenalidomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. This randomized phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of pomalidomide and ixazomib when given together with dexamethasone and to see how well pomalidomide and dexamethasone with or without ixazomib works in treating patients with multiple myeloma that has come back. Biological therapies, such as pomalidomide and dexamethasone, may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. Ixazomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether pomalidomide and dexamethasone are more effective with or without ixazomib in treating multiple myeloma.

ProACT Therapy for Stress Urinary Incontinence

This trial studies the effects of the ProACT device, which is implanted to help people with stress urinary incontinence (SUI). The device provides extra support to the urethra to prevent accidental urine leakage. The study will also look at how well patients do with other SUI treatments after having the ProACT device. The ProACT device is a minimally invasive treatment for male stress urinary incontinence, often used after prostate surgery, and involves the implantation of adjustable balloons to support the urethra.

This clinical trial compares the use of the connected customized treatment platform (CONCURxP), consisting of using a medication monitoring device called WiseBag along with text message reminders for missed or extra medication events, to enhanced usual care (EUC), where patients only use the WiseBag, to monitor medication adherence in patients with metastatic breast cancer who are taking a CKD4/6 inhibitor. To ensure CDK4/6 inhibitors achieve their full clinical benefit, patients need to take them as prescribed, following a complex treatment schedule. Forgetfulness was the most common reason reported for medication non adherence. Using the WiseBag along with CONCURxP or enhanced usual care may improve medication adherence in patients with metastatic breast cancer who are taking a CKD4/6 inhibitor.

This clinical trial examines a financial navigation program in helping patients (and their spouses or partner caregivers, if participating) understand and better manage the financial aspects of cancer care. Cancer patients and their spouse/partner caregivers may be at high risk for financial problems because of the cost of cancer treatment. A financial navigator is a person or team who works with patients and their families to help them reduce stress or hardship related to the cost of cancer treatment. Financial navigators help patients understand their out-of-pocket expenses and what their health insurance plans may cover. Financial navigation may also help patients set up payment plans, find cost-saving methods for treatments, and improve access to healthcare services that the patient needs. Providing financial navigation to patients may help reduce financial worries and improve quality of life.

This phase III trial evaluates whether a web-based intervention called Current Together after Cancer (CTAC) works to increase the number of patients with surgically removed (resected) colorectal cancer who receive surveillance care that aligns with current guidelines (guideline-concordant). Surveillance care after resection of colorectal cancer is critical to detect potentially curable return of disease (recurrence), yet up to 60% of colorectal cancer survivors fail to receive surveillance. This may be due to a lack of knowledge about the purpose of surveillance care and the risks of cancer recurrence, or a lack of confidence for managing surveillance care. The CTAC intervention is an online education intervention designed to improve patients' knowledge about surveillance and their self-efficacy for managing surveillance, and to promote effective communication with supporters and supporter engagement in patients' surveillance in a way that is aligned with each patient's preferences. By increasing a patient's knowledge, self-efficacy, and satisfaction with their supporter's engagement in their care, the CTAC intervention may increase the number of patients who receive guideline-concordant surveillance care after resection of colorectal cancer.

GEMS Program for Cancer Survivors

This phase III trial compares the effect of geriatric evaluation and management with survivorship health education (GEM-S) to usual care on patient-reported physical function in older survivors of cancer. Survivorship care for older adults of cancer usually consists of getting advice from their doctor. This advice may include how to do their daily activities, so they are less tired or how to manage multiple diseases, or long-term side effects from treatment. GEM-S may help improve the physical ability to perform activities of daily living, mental well-being, and memory in older survivors of cancer after chemotherapy. This study may help doctors learn if including GEM-S in their practices improves physical, mental and memory functions in their patients. The study may also help to understand how such care affects cancer patients and their caregivers' quality of life.

Many cancer patients experience financial hardship due to high medical out of pocket costs (OOPC), changes in employment, income and insurance. Financial hardship can lead to a delay or a stop in cancer care, and is linked to poor quality of life. Financial navigation programs, such as CostCOM, provide financial counseling, education and connections to appropriate resources to reduce financial barriers to healthcare and minimize financial stress and burden. CostCOM may improve adherence to care and decrease financial burden in patients with cancer.

Elotuzumab + Triple Therapy for Multiple Myeloma

This partially randomized phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of elotuzumab and to see how well it works when given together with lenalidomide, bortezomib, and dexamethasone in treating patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma that is likely to recur (come back), or spread (high-risk). Lenalidomide and bortezomib may stop the growth of multiple myeloma by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Also, bortezomib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as lenalidomide and dexamethasone, also work in different ways to kill cancer cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. CRB-601 Combination Therapy for Cancer

The purpose of this study is to determine the safety, blood concentrations and treatment effect of CRB-601 in combination with immunotherapy in patients who have advanced solid tumors (cancer) and have exhausted other therapeutic options.CRB-601 targets a protein called avb8 integrin which is expressed by some cancers and not others. This study will focus on tumor types which are know to highly or moderately express this protein.
Researchers will evaluate the side effects caused by treatment, levels of CRB-601 in the blood, and the effect on the participant cancer. This will help researchers understand the right dose of CRB-601 to use for treatment and whether it is an effective treatment to combine with standard of care treatments such as immunotherapy. It will also help the researchers understand whether combining CRB-601 with standard-of-care immunotherapy and immune-priming radiotherapy is a safe and effective approach to treat cancer.
Participants in the study will receive CRB-601 via an infusion every two weeks either alone or in combination with immunotherapy.
There will be assessments to check on the participants general health status (including blood tests) and adverse effects. Participants will also receive regular CT or MRI scans to evaluate the effect of CRB-601 on their cancer. Participants will continue to visit the clinic every two weeks while they are receiving benefit from treatment. If their cancer progresses, participants will be asked to continue to be followed-up by the researchers to understand long-term outcomes, even if they receive other treatments.

Brentuximab Vedotin + Nivolumab ± Ipilimumab for Hodgkin's Lymphoma

This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of ipilimumab and nivolumab when given together with brentuximab vedotin, and how well they work in treating patients with Hodgkin lymphoma that has returned after a period of improvement (recurrent) or has not responded to previous treatment (refractory). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab and nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Brentuximab vedotin is a monoclonal antibody, brentuximab, linked to a toxic agent called vedotin. Brentuximab attaches to CD30 positive cancer cells in a targeted way and delivers vedotin to kill them. It is not known whether giving brentuximab vedotin and nivolumab with or without ipilimumab may kill more cancer cells.

This study will evaluate the utilization of a non-invasive, novel cryo - compression, post-operative modality to improve pain control versus standard ice wraps in the immediate post-operative phase of arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery via a randomized controlled study design. Furthermore, if this study demonstrates improved pain control, improved quality of life and decreased opioid usage with the intermittent cold compression unit, recommendations may be considered for system-wide utilization.

Modafinil for Cognition in Healthy Subjects

The goal of this clinical is to learn more about decision making in psychosis spectrum disorders, like schizophrenia. The investigators will ask people who do not have psychosis to take a single dose of modafinil and then complete some brain games on the computer that measure decision making. They hope to improve our understanding of psychosis to help people in the future. The main research questions are:
Does a single dose of modafinil change how people play the brain games? Does a single dose of modafinil change brain activity?
Participants will:
Complete an interview and self-report questionnaires. Complete safety screening activities, like a blood draw, a urine drug test, and an alcohol breathalyzer test.
Take a single dose of modafinil. Complete brain games while wearing an electroencephalography (EEG) cap, before and after taking the single dose of modafinil. EEG measures electrical activity in the brain.
