What You Need to Know Before You Apply

What is the purpose of this trial?

This trial tests an AI-powered health app designed to help people improve daily habits like eating, exercising, and sleeping. The goal is to determine if the Thrive AI Health App makes a positive difference compared to not using it. Participants will receive free access to the app and will answer questions and visit the study site at the start and end. Ideal participants are adults over 40 at high risk of chronic diseases, such as those who are overweight or have type 2 diabetes. As an unphased trial, this study offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative health technology research and potentially improve personal health habits.

What prior data suggests that the Thrive AI Health app is safe for improving lifestyle habits?

Studies have shown that AI-driven health apps, such as the Thrive AI Health app, are generally safe for users. These apps enhance lifestyle habits like diet, exercise, and sleep by providing personalized advice. As a digital tool rather than a medication, the Thrive AI Health app does not cause the typical side effects associated with drugs. However, users must consent to share personal information, as the app uses this data to offer tailored advice. The app is designed to keep user information private and secure. To date, no reports of problems have arisen from using the Thrive AI Health app.12345

Why are researchers excited about this trial?

Unlike traditional lifestyle improvement treatments that often rely on in-person consultations or generalized wellness programs, the Thrive AI Health App leverages artificial intelligence to provide personalized health recommendations. This app is unique because it adapts in real-time to user inputs, offering tailored guidance and feedback that considers individual habits and health goals. Researchers are excited about this innovative approach because it has the potential to increase user engagement and effectiveness by making health management more interactive and customized. By integrating AI technology, the app aims to empower users to make more informed health decisions, potentially leading to better lifestyle outcomes.

What evidence suggests that the Thrive AI Health app is effective for improving lifestyle habits?

This trial will evaluate the Thrive AI Health app, which studies have shown can help people improve lifestyle habits, such as eating better, exercising more, and sleeping well. The app uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized advice based on each person's health information and goals. Previous users have reported better health, including increased activity and healthier food choices. The app's AI-driven approach offers suggestions tailored to individual needs, leading to positive changes in behavior and overall health. While more research is needed, these early findings suggest that the app can effectively support healthier lifestyles. Participants in this trial will either receive access to the Thrive AI Health app or be placed in a waitlist control group.23678
