What is the purpose of this trial?

The goal of the RAMP mind-body program is to provide Veterans with information and tools that can help them manage their pain. The program explores the important connection between our bodies and minds, and how to use this special connection to manage pain more effectively.

Inclusion Criteria

I am an adult living in a rural area with chronic pain and internet access.

Timeline for a Trial Participant

Screening

Participants are screened for eligibility to participate in the trial

2-4 weeks

Treatment

Participants receive the RAMP mind-body program via group telehealth, focusing on pain education, mindfulness, pain-specific exercises, and cognitive behavioral strategies

6 months
Telehealth sessions at baseline, 3 months, and 6 months

Follow-up

Participants are monitored for safety and effectiveness after treatment, with assessments of pain interference, intensity, and other health measures
