What You Need to Know Before You Apply

What is the purpose of this trial?

We will conduct a randomized controlled 2-arm parallel trial of A1c Drink vs. Placebo over a 3-month period and compare changes in Ha1c from baseline to 3 months. Investigator and study personnel, as well as participants, will be blinded to drink assignments.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

This trial is for adults with type 2 diabetes. People who join must meet the study's health requirements, but specific inclusion and exclusion details are not provided here.

Inclusion Criteria

I am between 21 and 75 years old and a patient at UCR Health.
I have type 2 diabetes with an HbA1c between 8 and 10.
Stable medications for at least 6 months

I have a serious illness like cancer or a weak immune system.
I am under 21, do not have type 2 diabetes, and my HbA1c is below 8 or above 10.
Substance use disorder

Trial Overview
