Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting governance and planning activities of the Technology Project Office and the wider Technology Governance structure. Support includes, but is not limited to leveraging the centralized project data source to conduct data analysis, create and generate reports, and to assist in revising the look and content of the Technology Governance communication and intake site. This position will also provide technical expertise and support for formatting reports and presentations for Technology communications.

You will be accountable to:

  • Conduct appropriate methods of data analysis to develop and generate accurate reporting in support of ongoing project performance optimization for the TPO group and other stakeholders
  • Navigate all applicable reporting software and data sources (Tableau, EIM reports, AX, SQL, Excel) in order to sufficiently translate into working project data
  • Collaborate with the TPO Analyst to generate detailed and accurate reports on project status, financials, and other metrics and update reporting dashboards, and templates
  • Provide PM tool (SharePoint, PWA, Replicon) technical support and issue resolution relating to report customization, training, and troubleshooting, and working with Technology Project Managers to ensure project data standards and quality are maintained
  • Collaborate with key Technology stakeholders on communication tools and knowledge management repositories to ensure they are up to date and refreshed as appropriate
  • Complete data entry for new project setup in project management tools
  • Develop materials and provide technical expertise for Technology stakeholders related to meetings and information dissemination such as presentations and communications

Your experience includes:

  • Enrolled in or completed University degree/College diploma in computer science/data analytics
  • Equivalent experience in an administrative role
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, Vlookups, creating formulae, and manipulating large data sets
  • Proficient in VB, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Project
  • Experience with Tableau and Graphic design is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff from other departments and work in conjunction with them to ensure smooth operation of projects and processes
  • Ability to maintain productive and efficient output in a busy work environment
