The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the feasibility of intervention implementation in two clinics in rural KY, and its preliminary efficacy with regards to increasing vaccine confidence in a sample of vaccine hesitant parents. There are very little data on human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination among the 18 million women living with HIV (WLWH) globally, who constitute a population most vulnerable to HPV and the resultant cervical cancer. Particularly, there are no data to date on reduced-dose schedules of nonavalent HPV (9vHPV) vaccination in WLWH and there are very little data on the 9vHPV vaccine in this population overall. It is critical to examine the 9vHPV vaccine in WLWH now because the quadrivalent HPV (4vHPV) vaccine has been discontinued. Additionally, in order to reach the World Health Organization's global goal of cervical cancer elimination, we must determine the role of various HPV prevention strategies in this important population including reduced vaccine dosing which can drastically increase the feasibility of HPV vaccination programs globally. This randomized clinical trial will enrol WLWH aged 18-45 from across Canada who have not previously received an HPV vaccine. Participants will be randomized 1:1 to receive 3 doses of 9vHPV vaccine at the routine vaccine schedule of 0/2/6 months or 2 doses at an expanded schedule of 0/6 months with a third dose at month 12 to adhere to current recommendations for WLWH. We will compare the immune response generated to two versus three doses of 9vHPV vaccine and will follow participants for 2 years to examine the immune response over time. This study, which builds upon our team's prior work on HPV vaccination in WLWH, will determine whether two doses of 9vHPV vaccine can be used in WLWH instead of three, and will examine additional aspects of HPV vaccination in WLWH including the immune response to three doses, vaccine safety and efficacy, and attitudes towards self-collected HPV samples in this population. These data will inform global public health policy and programming and will inform the global strategy for cervical cancer elimination.

This is a randomized trial to evaluate the effects of a community-based intervention on increasing cervical cancer screening rates in underserved Asian American (Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese) women. All women will receive an educational program and navigation assistance. Women in the intervention condition will also receive a self-sampling kit for self-collection of a cervical sample for HPV testing. The investigators will evaluate whether the inclusion of a self-sampling kit increases the proportion of Asian American women who participate in cervical cancer screening.

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommends HPV vaccination for all children and adults ages 9 to 26 in the U.S. However, HPV vaccination rates nationally and in Alabama lag far behind the Healthy People 2020 goal of 80% coverage. Despite multiple efforts, Alabama still ranks third in cervical cancer mortality and incidence nationally with great disparities within the state, particularly between urban and rural counties. In order to address this public health challenge, organizations have come together to develop, implement, and evaluate a statewide action plan to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health problem in Alabama by 2033. This plan was officially launched by the State Health Officer in May 2023 as a partnership between government, academia, civic organizations, and non-profit organizations and is known as OPERATION WIPE OUT. The overall goal of this Supplement is to develop, implement, and examine the feasibility and scalability of a theory-driven, participatory multi-channel communication campaign to promote HPV vaccination uptake that is designed and delivered by high school students with the support of OPERATION WIPE OUT partners and linked to school-based vaccination in a rural county that has the highest cervical cancer incidence in the state (Chambers County). The specific aims are: (1) To develop and examine the feasibility of a theory-driven, participatory multi-channel communication campaign to promote HPV vaccination uptake with high school students being agents of change and provision of school-based vaccination; and (2) To examine specific features of the multi-channel communication campaign regarding scalability, sustainability, and potentially a future full-scale implementation science trial. The primary outcome will be HPV vaccination uptake at the county level obtained Alabama Department of Public Health Vaccination Registry (ImmPRINT). Additionally, treatment fidelity and scalability assessments will be conducted to inform sustainability efforts.

The goal of this study is to explore and evaluate whether a 2-dose schedule of Gardasil 9 among young and mid-adult women 16-45 years of age is generally safe and immunogenic, with an antibody response that is not inferior to that observed of a 3-dose schedule of Gardasil 9 among women aged 16-26 years old.
