Study Summary

This trial will compare the effects of two different ways of getting fresh produce (delivery or vouchers) on weight and health outcomes, compared to a control group. It will also look at how these ways of getting produce affects children's diets and parents' food-related behaviors.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for families with children facing obesity, living within a 10-mile radius of a Brighter Bites school. It's open to Medicaid recipients or low-income uninsured who can read and write in English or Spanish. Families already participating in Brighter Bites or with a child at a school offering it cannot join.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests if home-delivered produce prescriptions or grocery vouchers can improve weight and health outcomes compared to no intervention. It also looks at changes in kids' eating habits and parents' food preparation practices.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
