"64 participants of age 18-100 with syndrome are being sought for this clinical trial. Furthermore, potential enrollees must meet the following criteria: BMI ≥29.1 kg/m2 (men) or 27.2 kg/m2 (women) in lieu of waist circumference measurements; suboptimal physical activity defined as ≤150 minutes per week at moderate intensity levels; fewer than 3 MetS parameters but approved by a PCP; and elevated abdominal obesity (waist circumferences >102 cm for males, >88 cm for females)."
