- You have a diagnosed condition called gastritis.You are taking medications that can cause problems when combined with nitrate supplements.You are currently a smoker.You have a kidney disease that has been diagnosed.You have smoked within the past 6 months.You have a liver disease that has been diagnosed.You have reported pain in your main hand's joints.You have been consistently doing light to moderate exercise for at least 30 minutes, three times a week, for the past three months, according to your self-report.You are taking supplements that can increase nitrate levels in your blood.You have a known thyroid problem.
- Group 1: Beet-root juice plus red-light therapy
- Group 2: Beet-root juice plus sham light therapy
- Group 3: Placebo plus red-light therapy
- Group 4: Placebo plus sham light therapy
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
