- You are currently taking other experimental medications or certain medications for mental health.You have taken N-acetylcysteine, α-lipoic acid supplements, other whey protein supplements, or Vitamin C within 2 months before starting the study and during the entire 6-month study period.You have allergies or intolerance to milk proteins.You have a serious illness like cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, major depression, or schizophrenia.You have a medical history that requires you to follow a diet low in protein.You have been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
- Group 1: Interventional
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
