- You have not been the main caregiver for a family member with dementia in the past year, or if the family member passed away more than a year ago.My family member moved into a care facility within the last year and I visit them weekly.I am able to understand and agree to the study's requirements.I have been a caregiver for less than a year, providing at least 4 hours of care daily.I am 18 years old or older.You have a pacemaker.A family member of mine has or had Alzheimer's or another form of dementia.If someone close to you has passed away in the last year and you are responsible for handling their belongings and finances, you cannot participate.
- Group 1: Self-Management
- Group 2: Attention Control Condition
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
